Partner Brad Samuels speaks at the American Society of International Law Annual Meeting

SITU’s Brad Samuels joins the American Society of International Law’s (ASIL) 112th Annual Meeting to present SITU Research and its work at the intersection of legal advocacy, human rights investigations and technology. Brad is part of the panel titled “New Technologies in International Criminal and Human Rights Investigations and Fact-Finding,” which explores how technological innovation is reshaping human rights fact-finding and criminal investigations. This session examines the role of technological expertise in supporting international investigations; how academics monitor the rise and challenges of technology; and how justice sector officials grapple with technology-generated data in court proceedings.
