Partner Brad Samuels speaks at Columbia Law School with the Columbia Law School Human Rights Institute and AAAS

August 2nd 2018

Joining Theresa Harris and Jonathan Drake from the AAAS Scientific Responsibility, Human Rights and Law Program, Brad is included in a presentation and interactive dialogue about the future of geospatial evidence in international human rights litigation.

SITU Research has collaborated with legal teams and NGOs such as Amnesty International to bring new evidence to light, including digital platforms that reconstruct recent events. In this dialogue, Brad will offer insight on these cases and how they have contributed to a new report by AAAS that provides the first comprehensive assessment of how geospatial technologies have been used in international human rights litigation.

Speakers:
Theresa Harris, AAAS Scientific Responsibility, Human Rights and Law Program
Jonathan Drake, AAAS Scientific Responsibility, Human Rights and Law Program
