SITU Fabrication President Michael Brotherton discusses design assist at the Center for Architecture

July 2nd 2019

Michael Brotherton, President of SITU Fabrication, joins a panel exploring the design assist process at AIANY’s Center for Architecture. The process of design assist, or collaborating with specialty fabricators and/or design consultants, is born out of a need for additional coordination and technical expertise as buildings become more formally complex. This panel explores the process from the perspective of both the architect and fabricator, sharing case studies of various collaboration methods for a wide range of architecturally significant projects.
