SITU engineered and fabricated a custom garden pavilion for a private residence in Hoboken, New Jersey.

The design—by CDR Studio—is inspired by the geometry of a butterfly wing. Constructed using irregular cells of sapele lumber, each member featuring complex joinery and fitting into welded aluminum framing. The structure includes a glass roof and walls lined with mosquito netting.
