Solar Canopy receives NYCxDESIGN award

Solar Canopy, a collaboration between Brooklyn Solar Canopy Company and SITU, won the award for best of NYCxDESIGN in the product category.

The Solar Canopy, previously featured in WIRED and Fast Company, has also won Best Green Innovation Product at Interior Design’s 2016 BOY Awards. The canopy tackles design challenges in order to leverage solar power in urban environments and with nearly 100 installed in the first two years across New York City rooftops, Brooklyn Solar Canopy Company is now expanding the Solar Canopy’s reach beyond NYC.
