Scripps Howard awards SITU Research and collaborator AP for Excellence in Visual Journalism
July 5th 2022We're excited to share the news that SITU Research and The Associated Press have been awarded the 69th Scripps Howard Award for “Excellence in Visual Journalism” for our collaboration on the investigation, "The Cost of War” (2021).
This project documented the aftermath of an Israeli strike on the Gaza town of Beit Hanoun and focused on the enormous labor required to rehabilitate the area, which constitutes its own slower form of violence.
