SITU Research organizes panel on innovation in investigative human rights reporting for RightsCon 2021

As visual investigations teams proliferate and become a more standard part of media, advocacy, and legal organizations, this panel provides an opportunity to survey a variety of work being generated by these groups. Among the topics discussed are data acquisition and authentication, open-source research, 3D reconstructions, and other emerging evidentiary formats. Other topics of discussion include cross-disciplinary workflows, managing large volumes of data and emerging narrative strategies.
