April 7th 2025MKR|MGR presents: SITU/ This is Not a Lecture
April 10, 2025 | 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM (Hybrid Event)
Event Description
Part 1 of The This is Not a Lecture. A series of discussions with Innovators and Fabricators.
Technically demanding projects often require creative approaches to ensure successful executions early on in the design process. By quickly and efficiently analyzing a range of materials and fabrication methods, inventive solutions produce unprecedented results. Deep understandings of 3D modeling, emerging technologies and parametric tools supplement architects’ skill sets to help them achieve their design intent while physical mockups confirm assumptions and help with client buy-in. Through the lens of specific case studies, a conversation around how the design assist process and mockup phase can bring challenging projects to fruition.
