The Architect’s Newspaper names Providence River Pedestrian Bridge 2021 Best Design Honorable Mention

INFORM Studio’s design for the Providence Pedestrian Bridge has been named an Honorable Mention for The Architect’s Newspaper 2021 “Best of Design Awards” in the field of Infrastructure. The publication highlights and awards designs by over 100 firms.

Our scope included the design-engineering and fabrication of a wana cladding system and structural connections for this reimagined bridge. The bridge reconnects neighborhoods that were once divided by the previously existing highway.
